Strandhotel Klinten is located in Rødvig, the southernmost point of Stevns Klint. From here, you can easily explore the many exciting cultural and natural attractions along the cliff. Stevns Klint is home to stories that span from the Cold War to the time when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and within a short distance, you can both delve deep into the earth and climb all the way to the top.

Here's how to get around...
There are several ways to get around and explore the many attractions when you visit Strandhotel Klinten and Stevns Klint.
Stevns Klint, stretching from Rødvig in the south to Bøgeskoven in the north, is connected by the Trampestien. This nature trail runs primarily along the edge of the cliffs. The trail is mostly flat and easy to navigate; it is easiest to walk along the southern section, from Stevns Fyrcenter to Rødvig. Read more about the Trampestien.
We most often highlight the trip from Rødvig to Boesdal Limestone Quarry/Stevns Klint Experience and the trip from Højerup to Stevns Lighthouse Center.
Along Stevns Klint, you’ll find the distinctive orange Donkey Bikes tourist bikes. You can easily rent the bikes through their app. There are also bikes available here at the hotel. The bikes are constantly being moved around, so if you want to use them on your trip along Stevns Klint, we recommend starting your day on a bike. Ride as far as you like. Park your bike at one of the attractions and make your way back along the cliff via the Trampestien trail and its many sights.
During the school summer break, a free tourist bus runs along the cliffs. The bus departs from Rødvig Harbor (a 5-minute walk away) and runs twice daily (morning and afternoon), both from south to north and back. The schedule is available at the hotel reception desk.
You can easily reach Stevns Klint, Rødvig, and Strandhotel Klinten by car, whether you’re coming from the north, south, or west. We’re located just 40 minutes from the E45 and only an hour south of Copenhagen. It’s easy to get around to the many attractions by car, and there’s ample parking at all of the area’s attractions. Free parking is available at the hotel. There are also many charging stations in the area, in addition to the ones we have here in our own parking lot.
The Østbanen local train stops just 800 meters from Strandhotel Klinten. The train line connects directly to Køge, where you can transfer to trains bound for Copenhagen.
